iHELP & Therapy Support can provide group programs according to each individuals goals. Linking clients with similar ages and/or abilities is a great way of developing social and physical skills.
Individuals attending group sessions need to be able to follow basic instructions and work independently. If you require 1:1 support, you will need to provide your own support worker or carer to assist you with carrying out the activities within the group.
Groups provide opportunities for socialising and improve communication skills. They encourage the concept of taking turns, sharing and respecting other's personal space.
Group activities are designed to improve cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength, as well as developing coordination, flexibility and joint mobility through incorporating stretching.
iHELP programs are delivered in a fun and interactive environment. No matter what your ability, you will finish with a feeling of achievement and increased confidence in an inclusive environment.
All groups take into consideration individual client goals. Every effort is made in placing clients in the most suitable group to meet your specific needs. You can choose to participate in a land based session or aquatic session in the pool.
